SPCC Compliance Planning

The Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) rule is a body of regulation within the EPA Clean Water Act that includes requirements for oil spill prevention, preparedness and response to prevent oil discharges to navigable waters and adjoining shorelines. The rule requires specific facilities to prepare, amend and implement SPCC Plans.

 

Development of a unique SPCC Plan requires detailed knowledge of the facility and the potential effects of any oil spill.
