797 Multiplexer
The Model 797 Multiplexer allows the Model 798-100 Handi-Logger to log more tiltmeters. Model 797 routes power to the tiltmeters and sequentially multiplexes their signals into common input terminals, which are connected to analog inputs in the Handi-Logger. Tiltmeter connections are made at clearly labeled screw terminal strips on the front panel. The Handi-Logger controls the multiplexer using two control ports. Each Model 797 multiplexes up to 10 biaxial or 20 uniaxial tiltmeters, or 30 two-wire signals from other devices. Up to two Model 797 units can be connected to one Handi-Logger.
