Economic Conductivity™
Enhanced Profitability
How much would you be willing to spend to increase the productivity of your well by 20 to 30%? What is it worth to increase the estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) of your well by 30%? In more than 100 field studies, increasing the fracture conductivity provided gains even larger than this – simply by optimizing the choice of proppant.
Economic Conductivity analyses are used to optimize fracture treatments and deliver the best return on investment. A bigger, quicker payout – that’s a productive decision.
Cumulative Gas Production

Maximizing the value of the operator's investment
- Incremental production increased 20 to 30%.
- $120K incremental value created in 180 days.
- Incremental proppant cost was offset in less than 30 days.
- Estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) increased by 30%.
-
SPE paper 77675 summarized more than 80 papers published describing production benefits achieved
with higher conductivity fractures:
- In oil, gas and condensate reservoirs;
- In carbonates, sandstones and coals;
- With well depths ranging from 100 to 20,000 feet.
- Higher conductivity fractures were beneficial in oil wells producing as little as 1 BOPD and in gas wells
producing less than 250 Mcf/D.
