Tiltmeter Monitoring

Applied Geomechanics’s tilt monitoring and mapping services provide clients with deformation profiles and visualizations for comprehensive site monitoring. Tilt mapping, available with our Atlas service, allows for the derivation of on-site displacement profiles and contours from tilt measurements made by surface and sub-surface instruments. Plotted as deformations over time, tilt maps can be combined for animated images of displacement field development. Tilt measurements can also be incorporated with GPS stations for absolute three-dimensional position accuracy. Our services provide clients with precise and comprehensible data, are quick and easy to implement, and are economical. User interface software also allows for on-site data access and remote access via the web. AGI’s tilt monitoring services should be considered for groundwater remediation projects involving hydraulic fracturing; other applications include civil and environmental engineering projects, and mining operations.
