CARBO production enhancement featured in drilling contractor article
27 Sep 2013
CARBO has adopted a unique approach to the design, build and optimization of fractures called: “Production Enhancement”. This approach delivers higher production levels on and offshore, increases estimated ultimate recovery and lowers finding and development costs per barrel of oil.
In the September/October issue of Drilling Contractor, CARBO's director of petroleum engineering, Terry Palisch describes how the process incorporates reservoir understanding into completion design, “This reservoir knowledge allows us to choose the appropriate completion technology, thereby improving the long-term productivity and viability of the well.”
Production Enhancement integrates technologies and intellectual capital from across CARBO’s business units to create a complete and customized solution to the design, build and optimization of each fracture.
Drilling Contractor magazine exclusively covers the global drilling and completion industry, both land and offshore. It’s the official magazine of the International Association of Drilling Contractors and is the longest continuously published magazine focusing on drilling and completion.
